Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Registered Nurse – NICU Facility: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center (Ardent Health Services) Location: Montclair, New Jersey Unit: 5430-1010 – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU Level III/IV) Start Date: November 24, 2025 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30) Status: Open Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years NICU Level III experience (3–5 years preferred) Certifications: BLS, NRP (required) Travel Experience: Not required Patient Population Neonates Neonates 29–34 weeks Neonates >34 weeks Patient Age Groups: Neonates and infants Unit & Facility Details NICU Level: III / IV Patient Ratio (Days): 1:2 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Orientation Hours: 32 hours Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services, phlebotomy, radiology, interpretation services, transportation, unit secretary, rapid response team Key Skills Clinical: IV therapy, arterial line management, central line blood draws and care, UVC management Feeding & Nutrition: Bottle, breast, and gavage feedings; NG/NJ tube placement and management Infectious Disease: Isolation precautions Neurologic: Care for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Medication Administration: Neonatal dosage calculations and emergency medication management Respiratory: Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
