Job Details: We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate with a strong background OR interest in fiduciary litigation. This position calls for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is proficient in managing and resolving complex legal disputes. You will be working with a team of seasoned professionals committed to delivering top-notch legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities: As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and overseeing all stages of fiduciary litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeals. 2. Providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of fiduciary legal matters. 3. Representing clients in court and advocating on their behalf in disputes involving trusts, estates, and other fiduciary relationships. 4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy. 5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents and agreements. 6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the smooth running of legal proceedings. 7. Keeping abreast of current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends that may impact our clients' legal position. 8. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service at all times.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation. 3. Admission to the state bar. 4. Proven experience in managing complex litigation cases from inception to resolution. 5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably. 6. Strong legal research and analytical skills. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely. 8. A client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. 9. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. 10. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines concurrently. 11. A high level of professional ethics and integrity.
