Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Manage all aspects of client engagements, including scope, invoicing, and compliance with ethical rules Lead corporate transactions including M&A, divestitures, ownership succession, shareholder agreements, and joint ventures Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, commercial agreements, and corporate records Perform and oversee due diligence, risk mitigation, and regulatory research Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with associates, Of Counsel, and support staff Build and maintain strong client relationships and communications Develop and promote the firm’s infrastructure, legal content, and client service standards
You should have most of the following: JD from an accredited law school; strong academic record Active member of Oregon State Bar (Washington Bar admission preferred) 6–12 years of legal experience, with at least 5+ years in a law firm environment Strong background in corporate transactions, M&A, and contract drafting Proven ability to independently manage complex client matters end-to-end Excellent written and oral communication skills Leadership and supervisory experience with junior attorneys or teams Ability to balance sophisticated legal work with collaborative, client-focused service
