Job Details
Our clients portfolio spans multiple states, and while you’ll be working on properties across the U.S., travel will be minimal — just occasional site visits or meetings as needed.
What You’ll Do
Provide essential accounting support to ensure accurate, timely financials for a portfolio of properties: Prepare and review monthly financial reports Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Review accounts payable and receivable transactions, resolving discrepancies Partner with lease administration to prepare CAM, insurance, and tax reconciliations Assist in preparing and analyzing annual budgets and forecasts Track and classify capital expenditures and tenant improvement projects Maintain organized, accurate property records and audit-ready documentation Support process improvements within the accounting team
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong preference for real estate or property management accounting experience We also welcome backgrounds in construction, hospitality, or commercial facilities management 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP Experience with property management/accounting software (Skyline, Yardi, or MRI a plus) Proficiency in MS Office Products Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach A desire to learn, adapt, and take ownership of your work
