Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to lead our financial operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls. As a key player in our finance team, you will collaborate closely with the CFO and other senior leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.

Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions. Lead the monthly close process and ensure adherence to deadlines. Internal Controls & Compliance: Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements for public companies. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage the preparation of financial audit reports. Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and business expansion. Work closely with the CFO to optimize working capital and manage financial risk. Assist in managing banking relationships and debt covenants. Strategic Partnership: Provide financial insight and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, supporting key business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align financial goals with company initiatives. Support M&A activities and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred). Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in a SaaS or technology company is highly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with public company reporting requirements, including SOX compliance. Proficient in financial software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
