Job Details: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month-end and year-end close process, accounts payable/receivables, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis. 2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries. 3. Conduct thorough P&L analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies, providing insightful recommendations to management. 4. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. 5. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. 6. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. 7. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 8. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. 9. Work closely with team members to educate them about finance and accounting procedures, exploring ways to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. 2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an accounting supervisor role or similar position. 3. Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management, including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, P&L analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and annual audit. 4. In-depth knowledge of accounting software, databases, and financial analysis tools, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel. 5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 6. Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting. 7. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. 8. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 9. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects. 10. Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
