Shifts available: 24 hour call 7a-7a Types of Cases: triage, labor management, vaginal and Cesarean birth, postpartum sterilization, postpartum care, emergency department and floor consults, acute surgical care, possibly scheduled D&E for miscarriage, point of care limited obstetric ultrasound, induction of labor, vaginal birth, laceration repair, OVD, hemorrhage management, post placental IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, first trimester D&E, surgical management of ectopic pregnancy, torsion, other gyn emergencies Specific requirements/restrictions: No candidates within 50 miles, MD/ DO Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required, ACLS/BLS, PALS , PA license and DEA required, COVID Vaccination is Mandatory, Clean MP and backgrounds required Number of deliveries: 750 births annually OB Procedures: triage evaluation, point of care limited obstetric ultrasound, induction of labor, vaginal birth, laceration repair, OVD, hemorrhage management, Cesarean birth, postpartum sterilization, post placental IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion Additional info: OB/GYN HOSPITALIST WEEKEND COVERAGE AT SCHUYLKILL is needed
