Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death litigation cases, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. 2. Conduct thorough legal research to build strong cases and identify potential issues that could impact the outcome. 3. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses. 4. Advocate for clients in court and negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable settlements. 5. Collaborate with our legal team to develop strategies and prepare for trial. 6. Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with regular updates and ensuring they understand the legal process. 7. Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and inform the team of any potential impacts on our cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney. 3. Active member in good standing with the State Bar. 4. Proven experience with litigation, legal research, and legal writing. 5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably. 6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify legal issues and develop strategic solutions. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
