SATCOM Network Engineer

About the Role

MetroSys is seeking a

SATCOM Network Engineer

to support and manage complex global satellite communication (SATCOM) networks and iDirect systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing mission systems while mentoring Tier 1 technicians and driving operational excellence.What You'll Do Monitor and manage

global SATCOM networks

and

iDirect systems . Perform

quality control

on iDirect options files, MSL entries, and Remedy tickets. Provide

operational support and guidance

to Tier 1 technicians. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure

mission success and continuous improvement . What You'll Need 6+ years

of experience with complex SATCOM systems (or equivalent education/training). Active TS clearance

with

SCI eligibility . DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification , or ability to obtain within 60 days. Experience with

iDirect Hub solutions ,

TCP/IP networking , and

SATCOM/RF systems . Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
