The Opportunity
We're looking for Material Handlers to join our 1st shift team at $17.00 per hour. This is a hands-on role where you'll handle materials including packaging and folding. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, staying active, and being part of a team that values precision and quality.
(Training will take place on both 1st and 2nd shift before moving permanently to 1st shift.)
What You'll Do Support Production in folding, collating, and packaging equipment to prepare printed materials for shipment. Inspect printed materials for quality, including alignment, folds, and completeness. Assemble, pack, and label printed products according to customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Report equipment malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor promptly. What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Pallet Jack Operations Previous experience in folding, packaging, or print production is a plus. Ability to operate production machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed. Physical Demands & Work Environment
On your feet for most of the shift (with frequent walking and lifting up to 50 lbs) This position is very active Reaching, bending, kneeling, and occasional climbing Good vision (close-up, distance, and color recognition) required Work near moving machinery and ink systems Protective gear provided and required: safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses when handling inks/cleaners
