School Speech-Language Pathologist (SY 2025-2026) Compensation Rate: Pays up to $73 per hour

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students of varying ages and needs, fostering their communication skills and overall well-being.

Job Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) or treatment plans, collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals, and maintain accurate records of services provided.

Participate in the review of data with other members of an IEP team to inform appropriate instruction and interventions based on student identified needs. This may include providing consultation and support for students who qualify for a 504 and/or an IEP, as defined under IDEA eligibility guidelines.

Case manage students identified with SLI only

Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Interpret assessment results and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders. Utilize standardized and informal assessment tools. Treatment and Intervention: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) or treatment plans based on assessment results and individual needs. Provide direct therapy services to individuals in individual or group settings. Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques. Monitor and document progress toward goals. Provide teletherapy services when needed. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and other professionals to support individuals' communication needs. Provide consultation and training to educators and families on communication strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Complete required documentation in a timely manner. Adhere to HIPAA and FERPA regulations. Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology. Participate in professional development activities and conferences. Maintain all required licensing and certifications. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for communication and swallowing disorders. Experience working with [specific population, e.g., children, adults, specific disabilities] preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with IEP development and implementation. Experience with teletherapy platforms and practices. Required License:

Colorado (CDE) Special Service Provider License Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual abilities. Experience with specific therapy techniques (e.g., PROMPT, PECS). Experience in a school setting.
