11/19/14 Primary Purpose: Under direct supervision, perform data entry including accounting, personnel, budget, demographics, or Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data; attendance; or grades into computer databases. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance, and 10-key skills Ability to meet established deadlines
Experience: Two years data entry experience Major Responsibilities and Duties: Records and Reports Run daily No Show lists for each secondary campus and change leave reason code on every No Show student as enrollment is verified. This is done until the Fall re-submission in January. Provide No Show list on a daily basis for Student Services and work with Mr. Frazier to maintain an accurate list. Maintain leaver/dropout records by entering all withdrawal information in TEAMS including: Checking withdrawal date, verifying reason for leaving, campus of (new) enrollment, and date of enrollment (if Texas public school). Use TEA PET System to verify enrollment in another Texas public school for every Texas school lever. Keep track of all record requests which come through TREx. Verify enrollment at other schools (other than Texas public schools) though pink cards and record request forms. Write notes of record requests on PEIMS Withdrawal Forms and enter Notes into TEAMS on withdrawal record. Communicate to Mr. Frazier in Student Services all withdrawn students who are coded as dropouts. Make copies of Record Request Lists for Student Services. Work with high school counselors to ensure each graduate is coded correctly. Maintain list for 5th year continuers and track enrollment/withdrawal through School Start Window. Work with attendance officers for all Quadrants in regard to Truancy and maintaining accurate truancy records. Enter all PEIMS reported Truancy (discipline) information for all campuses in the District. Work with Principals at all secondary campuses to identify personnel responsibilities for the leaver and graduate process on each campus. Beside the Leaver monitoring duties above, this person also supports the other PEIMS Consultants and campus staff with their duties in TEAMS SIS for: Enrollment, withdrawal, scheduling, attendance, discipline, grades, TEAMS Reports, first day procedures, teacher reconciliation, and balancing Form 105 and Table I reports by six weeks. Support campuses on all software including: TEAMS, TREx, E-Sembler Gradebook. Answer PEIMS phones during lunch hour. Process mailing, folder and data labels for all campuses. Process various reports in Crystal Reports for all campuses. Train new registrars in procedures for their position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Working Conditions: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
