founding engineer
to design, build, and scale the core platform. This is a hands‑on, technical role—not a management position. The successful candidate will shape both the product and the engineering foundation at the most formative stage.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior full‑stack engineer who thrives in early‑stage environments, enjoys building from scratch, and wants to work with AI in real production settings.
What You’ll Work On
Build the Core Platform:
Design and ship advocate‑ and patient‑facing applications, backend services, and integrations.
Develop AI‑First Workflows:
Implement LLM‑powered features to automate intake, triage, and follow‑up.
Shape the Tech Roadmap:
Translate evolving product needs into scalable systems and make key build‑versus‑integrate decisions.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with clinical, operations, and growth teams to ensure technology solves real‑world problems.
Set the Engineering Standard:
Establish best practices for code quality, security, and compliance.
Have 5–15 years of full‑stack engineering experience (Python/Django, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, or similar).
Have shipped production code in healthcare or other regulated industries.
Are fluent in AI development — LLMs, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, or model integration.
Are highly hands‑on (coding 80%+ of your time).
Thrive in ambiguity and value ownership in a fast‑moving, high‑impact environment.
Strong Django and Python skills.
Exposure to EHRs, claims systems, or care coordination tools.
DevOps and CI/CD experience for small teams.
Prior work in early‑stage startups.
