Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.

Mon-Friday 7-3:30

Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.

AART required, Current State/District license required

RDCS or RCVT required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Minimum of 2 years of experience required in both basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.

ARDMS cardiac echo certification required.

Experience with Echocardiology US system and all transducers, including transesophageal, arterial and vascular US experience required.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements

One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
