A leading organization in the Miamisburg, OH area is seeking an experienced

Senior Staff Accountant

to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:

The

Senior Staff Accountant

will lead and execute the full month-end close process, including journal entries and general ledger/subledger reconciliations.

The

Senior Staff Accountant

will maintain and manage the fixed asset ledger, review financial statements, and complete detailed balance sheet account reconciliations.

Ensure audit readiness by coordinating annual audit requests, compiling supporting documentation, and working closely with external auditors.

The

Senior Staff Accountant

will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses to support business objectives.

Serve as a backup for accounts receivable and credit/release decisions while collaborating with sales and cross-functional departments.

Qualifications and Skills of Senior Staff Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

The

Senior Staff Accountant

must have solid experience managing the month-end close process independently, with minimal supervision.

Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to take ownership of accounting processes from start to finish.
