Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,360 - $1,460 per week Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location: Pasadena, TX 77504 (Greater Houston area) Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Cardiac Stepdown Unit Start Date: January 5, 2026 End Date: April 6, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs (jacket and undershirt same color or white) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NIH Stroke Scale certification Minimum 1 year of recent experience in IMCU, Cardiac Stepdown, or Intermediate Care nursing ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred Strong clinical, time management, and communication skills Ability to float to all areas within the healthcare facility as needed Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and IMCU patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech EMR Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate care as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes Maintain open communication with patients, families, and clinical staff Adhere to unit policies, clinical guidelines, and best practices Participate in weekend rotations and float to other nursing units as required Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
