What You'll Be Doing
- providing timely and professional responses to phone calls and emails.
- Welcoming tenants and new applicants and guiding them through the application process.
- Distributing application materials, conducting interviews, and conducting background and credit checks.
- Managing leasing tasks such as lease signings, preparing financial statements and invoices, and performing other administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate wait and transfer lists; review applicant files to determine eligibility.
- Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
Compensation
- $19.00‑$21.00 per hour
- plus an annual bonus
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the affordable housing industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to obtain a leasing license within 120 days of hire.
- COS/TCS preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven track record of managing complex operational tasks.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish (preferred but not required).
