Receptionist

Join as a Client Service Professional/Receptionist at H&R Block—a leading provider of tax, financial planning, and consulting services. We believe in empowering people by giving them confidence and reliable support.

As a seasonal receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, helping to create a welcoming and efficient experience both in person and virtually.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and greet clients in a friendly, personalized manner.
• Match clients with the most suitable tax professional based on their needs.
• Schedule appointments at the client’s convenience.
• Ensure all client needs are met during service via in‑person, phone, or virtual interactions.
• Maintain office cleanliness and keep resources organized in collaboration with team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or at multiple locations.
• Prior sales or marketing experience (preferred).
• Experience in a fast‑paced customer‑service environment.
• Strong multi‑tasking, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suites.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $11.00 – $27.00/h. Local minimum wage laws apply.
