The Program Manager III, License Compliance is responsible for overseeing and managing the institution’s compliance activities related to intellectual property and technology licensing agreements. This position ensures that all licensees adhere to the financial, performance, and reporting obligations defined in their contracts, safeguarding the institution’s interests while maintaining positive relationships with commercial partners. The Program Manager provides oversight of royalty reporting and payment verification, coordinates compliance audits, and supports enforcement of contractual obligations when necessary. Working closely with licensing, legal, and finance teams, the Program Manager III serves as a subject‑matter expert in interpreting complex license terms and translating them into effective compliance monitoring practices.
Work Schedule:
The role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This is a hybrid position, with three days on‑site and two days remote per week.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.
Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside the community.
Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and five years of related experience
OR Master’s degree and four years of experience.
Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
Demonstrated team leadership, organizational, financial management and problem‑solving skills
Strong presentation, communication and training skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Healthcare setting experience
Experience with systems, databases, datasets and Excel
IT or system administration background
Experience with preparing documentations for executive leadership
Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range:
Minimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00. Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50. The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
