Automation Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in Englewood, NJ. The ideal candidate will support CI/CD pipeline development and secure application deployments across cloud and data center environments. Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Build, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and secure application delivery. Manage cloud infrastructure and security tools across AWS, GCP, and data centers, including WAF, Site Shield, and vulnerability scanning. Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues using packet capture and APM tools. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy to streamline operations and improve system reliability. Support M365 services and lead tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, ensuring governance and compliance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive technical projects, manage risk, and provide 24/7 operational support. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience with AWS and GCP in large‑scale environments, and 2+ years with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools. Must have hands‑on experience with Linux systems, scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy), and CI/CD pipeline development. Familiarity with security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, Prisma) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
