Forest Creek Animal Hospital is located in Round Rock, TX, right down the street from Dell Diamond! We are a busy, thriving full‑service hospital that excels at providing exceptional medical care in a truly relaxed environment. We offer routine and advanced surgical procedures, including ACL repair, dental, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and a full range of anesthetic, regenerative and complementary therapies. Our doctors are supported by an experienced team and the facility is equipped with in‑house laboratory, digital x‑ray, EKG, anesthesia monitors and a tonometer. Overview The Veterinarian is responsible for providing high‑quality care to patients while developing rapport with owners. In addition to physical examinations, surgeries and dentistry, client communication and education are essential. We expect every veterinarian to treat clients and patients like family.

Responsibilities

Develop rapport with clients and determine their needs; perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical and dental procedures with a focus on quality care and minimal patient stress.

Explain examination findings, communicate diagnoses, present treatment plans and educate clients on preventive health, vaccines and nutrition.

Maintain comprehensive client/patient records and keep logs updated via established protocols; assist colleagues with follow‑up and future management.

Stay current with medical advancements, attend continuing education.

Support development of the paraprofessional team to deliver top‑quality care and client service.

Represent the hospital positively in the professional community and to the public.

Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.

Licensure in good standing in the state where applying.

Professional comportment and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.

Adept at decision‑making and clear communication with team members.

Respectful and willing to work with clients and their pets.

Compassionate team player who upholds a strong reputation with clients.

Commitment to the highest standard of medicine and the veterinary code of ethics.

Proficiency in surgery is a plus.
