Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations of expressive and receptive language, cognitive skills, feeding skills, and oral motor functioning in a variety of settings.
Develop treatment plans and provide procedural documentation.
Consult with other professional staff and families regarding results of evaluations, treatment, and progress.
Plan instructional activities and home programs for parents.
Maintain daily progress notes, quarterly reports, and discharge summaries.
Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, parent group meetings, and other team activities.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech and Language and licensure in the State of Indiana.
At least one year of experience implementing therapy programs for special‑needs infants and toddlers or college practicum work developing appropriate activities and strategies for infants and toddlers.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, supervisor, and agency personnel.
Registered/licensed with the Health Professions Bureau of Indiana.
Enrolled in the state of Indiana as a First Steps provider.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to and from each visit, therapy session, or Individual Family Service Plan site.
