Job Overview – Accounting Manager/Divisional Controller (Manufacturing):
Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Divisional Controller (Manufacturing) in Montgomery County, PA with our client. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee financial reporting, operational accounting, and month‑end close while driving efficiency, cost control, and process improvement. Ideal for accounting leaders with strong SAP skills and experience in manufacturing finance and cost management.
Responsibilities as the Divisional Controller (Manufacturing):
Financial Oversight:
Manage general ledger, accounts, and reporting functions in compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate standards.
Month‑End Close & Reporting:
Oversee closing processes and prepare accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
AP/AR Management:
Supervise Accounts Payable and Receivable operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong cash flow.
Manufacturing Finance:
Partner with plant management to analyze costs, production efficiency, and profitability, identifying improvement opportunities.
Leadership & Controls:
Lead and develop accounting staff while strengthening internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.
Qualifications for the Divisional Controller (Manufacturing):
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required (CPA preferred).
Experience:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role, with manufacturing or industrial operations experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, with experience in Oracle Hyperion Planning preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, financial controls, and manufacturing performance analysis.
Skills & Attributes:
Strategic, analytical leader with strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills, adept at driving financial excellence and cross‑functional collaboration.
