Develop and maintain a working understanding of broadcast workflows, signal flow paths, and systems architecture. Identify malfunctioning equipment within the signal chain and implement appropriate corrective actions. Perform basic configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of satellite and fiber decoders. Demonstrate working knowledge of analog and digital signal formats, including SD/HD video, audio types (analog, AES, Dolby), and metadata handling. Use broadcast test equipment such as waveform monitors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and audio analyzers to validate signals and troubleshoot issues. Exhibit foundational knowledge of IT systems, computer hardware/software, and IP networking as they relate to modern broadcast infrastructure. Understand and apply networking concepts including TCP/IP, multicast, VLANs, and Quality of Service (QoS). Assist in the design, planning, and deployment of IP‑based broadcast systems and contribute to the development of technical standards. Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for hardware configurations, software setups, and operational workflows. Participate in engineering projects involving implementation and support of real‑time, networked audio/video infrastructure. Install, configure, and repair broadcast equipment and systems, both hardware and software, as required. Maintain accurate records using issue tracking tools and follow team protocols for incident reporting and resolution. Perform other engineering duties as assigned, including participation in cross‑functional support teams. Comcast is an equal opportunity workplace. Primary Location Pay Range: $30.75 - $46.12 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience.
