As a
Water Resources Engineer , you will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam safety assessment, design, compliance, and rehabilitation, water resource utility infrastructure and stormwater facilities design, stream restoration design, and conduct floodplain and drainage studies throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
Working on both large‑scale public and private sector projects, you will perform H&H modeling, engineering calculations, and produce engineering drawings on a variety of water resources related projects. You will interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, and may lead whole projects from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in either Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
8+ years of experience with water resources projects in one or more of the following areas: hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management and compliance, dam safety engineering, utility infrastructure design, stream restoration
Project Management and leadership skills, demonstrated by leading past projects and managing a small team of engineers and other stakeholders
Demonstrated experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HydroCAD, or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong writing skills and preparation of technical reports
Experience with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling is a plus
