Job Description Job Description TEMP-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY Job Description We are looking for a versatile and experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment upkeep and facility operations in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read complex schematics and perform repairs independently. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, PLC programming, welding, plumbing, and equipment diagnostics using advanced test tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a hands-on approach, follow GMP and safety protocols, and be capable of training others on technical systems. Lock Out / Tag Out and PIT certifications are required. Hours 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available Monday - Friday (OT as needed) Pay $30.00 (up to $41.00 once hired, DOE) Job Duties Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment independently Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Complete work orders accurately and on time Suggest process improvements or replacement substitutes when applicable Install plumbing circuits as needed Perform basic welding tasks Use hand tools, power tools, and manual repair equipment proficiently Create and implement solutions using PLC controllers and ladder logic programming Troubleshoot electrical problems methodically and effectively Utilize advanced test equipment to resolve complex equipment issues Design and fabricate electronic circuits as needed Train others on electronically operated equipment and systems Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on equipment Read complex technical drawings and troubleshoot issues independently Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns, updating parts as needed Interpret and troubleshoot pneumatic and air logic drawings; install circuits independently Read and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and replace components without assistance Perform basic mathematical calculations and record written instructions accurately Work independently and notify supervisors of any maintenance concerns Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lock Out / Tag Out practices Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) safely and maintain required certification Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Experience with PLC programming and ladder logic Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions Ability to perform welding and plumbing tasks Familiarity with GMP standards and safety compliance Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Lock Out / Tag Out Certification (required, with annual recertification) PIT (Power Industrial Truck) Certification Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a hands-on environment Company Description Our Professional Division works with clients as a stakeholder in their hiring strategy and process.
