We are searching for a seasoned Civil Project Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, site development, grading, stormwater management, and landfill development. Minimum 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will design, develop, and oversee a variety of engineering projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities
Design, plan, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, water and sewerage systems. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings). Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw blueprints that satisfy technical specifications. Assess potential risks, materials, and costs. Provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with stakeholders. Handle resulting structures and services for use. Monitor progress and compile project status reports. Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, and deliver technical files and documentation. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in civil engineering, site development, grading, stormwater management, and landfill development. Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar. Project management and supervision skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. License as a professional engineer. In‑depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design. Strong mathematical, scientific, and IT skills. Ability to think methodically, design, plan and manage projects. Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while attending to detailed technicalities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate. Understanding of environmental issues.
