Job Overview The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring alignment with company standards. Responsibilities include measuring products compared to their intended physical specifications, conducting quality assessments, and identifying defects.

Responsibilities

Measure products compared to intended physical specifications.

Conduct quality assessments and identify defects.

Visually inspect products for conformance to customer specifications.

Utilize micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, depth gages, angle gauges and Romer arm for precise measurements.

Interpret Romer Arm reports.

Locate, identify, and accurately document nonconforming products (NCR).

Perform visual inspections on reworked and repaired parts for compliance per customer specifications.

Perform receiving inspections and ensure completion of material documentation (material certs, PO, etc.).

Understand workload and plan future inspections to meet delivery dates.

Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate between departments.

Inspect and approve product packaging prior to shipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma plus 1 year of AS9100 inspection experience.

Experience with AS9100 First Article inspections and reports.

Ability to read drawings and solid knowledge of GD&T basics.

Capability to lift, grip, push, pull and hold components.

Working knowledge of Quality concepts and inspection.

Experience in Manufacturing Assembly Inspection.

Proficiency in utilizing Romer ARM with VeriSurf software.

Strong expertise in reading technical drawings.

Fluency in English.
