We are a well-established, mid-size law firm in New York looking for a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Attorney to provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of real-estate matters and manage complex transactions.
Base Pay Range $150,000 - $275,000 per year
Location New York, NY
Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients on real estate matters, including purchases, sales, leasing, financing, and development.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex real-estate contracts and agreements.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal risks and solutions.
Close financing and refinancing transactions.
Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient client service.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and market trends affecting real-estate transactions.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
Contribute to the firm’s growth and reputation through business development activities.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Membership in good standing with the New York state bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real-estate attorney, preferably within a law firm setting.
Proven experience handling complex real-estate transactions.
Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to interpret and draft complex legal documents.
Strong analytical skills and ability to provide practical legal advice to clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
Strong business development skills, with a track record of attracting and retaining clients.
