Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Project Delivery – Manage procurement and supply chain projects end-to-end, including wafer and substrate sourcing, supplier qualifications, contract transitions, and logistics planning.
Supplier Coordination – Act as the project lead with suppliers, ensuring milestones are met, risks are addressed, and communications remain clear and professional.
Risk & Continuity Planning – Support dual-sourcing, buffer strategies, and contingency planning to reduce exposure from single-source suppliers, trade regulations, or geopolitical instability.
Cost & Efficiency Projects – Drive initiatives that deliver measurable savings, streamline procurement processes, and improve supplier performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, quality, operations, planning and finance to align supply chain projects with technical requirements and production schedules.
Capital & Logistics Support – Coordinate procurement readiness for capital tool moves, site transitions, and shutdown logistics.
Metrics & Reporting – Track and report project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to procurement leadership and stakeholders.
Process Improvement – Contribute to improving supplier scorecards, ERP workflows, and procurement best practices.
Establish program charters, governance structures, and success criteria with a focus on quantifiable outcomes.
Support digital transformation initiatives by adopting ERP analytics, Power BI, and AI-enhanced tools to improve visibility and forecasting.
Education & Experience
Minimum 9 yr. experience in related field plus 3+ years managing projects in semiconductor.
Bachelor's Degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
Skills
Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to inform sourcing, risk management, and supplier performance decisions.
Demonstrated success delivering projects on-time and within budget, particularly in supplier transitions and sourcing initiatives.
Proficiency with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba) and project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or similar), Power BI and AI.
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to communicate across cultural differences and amongst different levels including executive leadership.
Hands-on project execution with a bias for action.
Data-driven decision-making and financial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong collaboration skills across functions and geographies.
Practical risk awareness — balancing urgency with long-term supply chain resilience.
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite in a manufacturing environment.
The role involves working in an open office setting and requires the ability to remain seated at a computer for extended periods.
Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including scanners, and in utilizing Outlook and other Microsoft applications, is essential.
Ability/willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of time.
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to adorn clean room attire.
Must be able to lift, pull 20 lbs.
