Position Title Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location Shelbyville POC, TN
Reports To Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
Provide guidance and alignment in support of the global Continuous Improvement Agenda, working with plant leaders and system leaders to assure ownership and timelines are met.
Integrate with the current site and central Continuous Improvement teams in performing training to support the business.
Build the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives.
Foster key relationships within the team.
Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root‑cause analysis, project validation, etc.
Drive integrated project plan to implement and deliver business results.
Ensure that Continuous Improvement work is impacting both results, and the culture change
Capability building for setting, tracking and problem‑solving measures.
Total employee involvement.
Linkages of individual and team activities to losses and the business need.
Successful implementation of large capital projects on time and on budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience leading a project and managing a timeline.
Experience working in a factory or warehouse with automation and systems.
Experience with a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
Proven team member in collaboration of projects within facility.
