RN LPN CMA - SYCAMORE PAIN & WELLNESS CLINIC
The Horizon Health facility serves Paris, IL and surrounding communities with inpatient beds and outpatient clinics. This role supports critical access rural health services and expands community care.
Position Summary RN, LPN, and CMA combine clinical and administrative skills. The holder assists providers, manages patient flow, and delivers comprehensive direct care to patients of all ages.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities)
Maintain a positive work environment and serve as a valuable member of the medical team.
Prepare patients for provider exams and assist as needed.
Administer medication and complete orders under delegation, documenting appropriately.
Perform point‑of‑care testing and document results accurately.
Communicate diagnostic results as delegated by provider.
Triage telephone calls and prioritize patient requests.
Add patients to the schedule and monitor throughput.
Use office equipment to coordinate patient care.
Maintain the office environment and report equipment needs.
Capture historical and current wellness information, including screenings and vitals.
Inventory supplies and communicate needs.
Communicate with interdisciplinary services regarding patient needs.
Provide friendly and caring customer service to patients and families.
Follow proper infection control procedures.
Obtain specimens and comply with handling guidelines.
Queue orders and testing for authorized sign‑off.
Prioritize incoming communications and results to manage workflows.
Assist with prior authorizations with insurance companies.
Receive and provide status reports between levels of care within departments.
Provide front‑line service recovery.
Provide patient education regarding new diagnoses, chronic disease progression, and new medications.
Position Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Illinois RN, LPN, or CMA license.
Current BLS certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the nursing process and effective use of the same.
Strong nursing practice skills.
Ability to perform complex and varied tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
Position Information Location: 1378 South State Road 46 Terre Haute, IN 47803.
Hours: Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.
Pay Rate RN: $23.85‑$38.17 per hour. LPN: $18.12‑$28.33 per hour. CMA: $15.75‑$25.22 per hour.
