Position Summary The Critical Care Registered Nurse provides individualized care to critically ill patients and their families. The RN is responsible for total patient care for their assigned patients across the entire shift, following AACN guidelines and unit policies.
Required Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (external candidates)
Demonstrated customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Ability to maintain appropriate work pace and effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications
Membership in a professional organization
Basic computer skills
At least two years of recent experience as a RN in an acute care facility
At least one year of recent experience as a RN in a Critical Care Unit
Knowledge of University and medical center policies and procedures
