Overview StormTrap, an innovative organization that provides stormwater management solutions through patent protected technology, has an open opportunity. The Accounts Payable Specialist is an integral part of the Finance Team, specializing in accounts payable processing, expense reporting, and general accounting for the Company.
Salary From $50,000
Preferred Location This opportunity is a hybrid role, so we are looking for candidates who are within reasonable driving distance of our office in Romeoville, Illinois.
Responsibilities
Managing accounts payable using Rootstock software, including coding and entering invoices and monitoring payment activity to ensure adherence to vendor terms and departmental procedures
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, including onboarding, reconciling vendor statements and investigating discrepancies
Managing travel and expense reporting utilizing SAP Concur, including providing training, guidance, and support for the software and employees
Assisting in the month end close process including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Qualifications
3-5 years accounting experience related to accounts payable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast paced environment
Desired Skills and Experience Motivated, professional, self-starter, accountable, ethical, hard-working, personable, and working well independently and with others
Travel Company-wide meetings and / or regional meetings / events may result in occasional overnight travel.
