Senior Manager, Business Management – Apparel (Hybrid, Seattle)
Location: Nordstrom's downtown Seattle headquarters. This role follows a hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one remote workday each week.
The Senior Manager of Business Management for Apparel is a critically important role, enabling the Leadership team to transform how we manage the business and serve our customers. This leader will drive strategic initiatives, internal communications and business operations.
Responsibilities
Drive cross‑cutting strategic initiatives and provide thought leadership. Identify issues that impede business group success and provide solutions/recommendations.
Take on key business questions, source and collect data, analyze or build models, and drive to recommendations and execution, including creation of materials to guide cross‑functional leadership teams.
Track overall goals and KPIs, develop data and measurement standards, define consistent measurement efforts that align to business outcomes, and communicate progress to leaders.
Drive internal communications strategy, events and initiatives. Work with HR, Internal Communications and business peers to deliver a communications plan focused on strategic vision, priorities, change management and employee engagement.
Participate as a valued member of the Apparel leadership team and provide input to key strategic decisions. Assess current meetings and decision‑making forums, recommend improvements, and ensure agenda preparation and follow‑up/accountability measures.
Qualifications
10+ years of related experience (e.g., strategy consulting, program management, merchandising/inventory).
Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in formulating strategy and guiding implementation.
Effective at driving complex multi‑stakeholder processes and cross‑team programs to desired results while managing risk.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for a large, multi‑discipline organization.
Strong analytical ability and proficiency in telling the story through PowerPoint.
Ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Pay Range $126,500.00 – $210,000.00 Annual. This position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives/bonuses. Additional benefits include 401(k), medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, holidays, and more.
