About The Role
We’re seeking a Content Designer II to join the Ads & Offers design team at Uber. This team plays a key role in helping customers discover new stores and affordable dishes while supporting merchants in expanding their reach and building customer loyalty.
What You Will Do
Design end‑to‑end content experiences for mobile and web products for both merchants and consumers.
Define scalable frameworks and systems that balance user needs with evolving business goals.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Design, UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing to create cohesive, compliant, and inclusive experiences.
Use insights and data to refine messaging, simplify decision paths, and continuously improve clarity and impact.
Contribute to the content design practice through frameworks, documentation, and tooling, helping teams scale content quality and consistency.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or product content strategy.
A portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product experience design, from strategy through implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to collaborate across design, research, PM, legal, and engineering.
Strong writing craft: clear, concise, user‑centered content for digital interfaces.
Familiarity with localization, accessibility, and content systems.
Demonstrated ability to advocate for content in design critiques and reviews.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills – able to clearly explain design decisions and rationale.
Experience designing for global products.
Demonstrated systems thinking, with the ability to design frameworks that meet current user needs while scaling for future growth.
A self‑starter who thrives on ownership of multiple product areas and drives projects from concept to launch.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: USD$152,000 per year – USD$169,000 per year for all US locations. You will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, may be offered an equity award, and will have access to Uber’s comprehensive benefits package. For more details, visit
