is seeking a dynamic
Senior
Structural Engineer
to join our team in
Washington D.C. or Pittsburgh
and drive impactful projects across
US and Canada . In this pivotal role, you'll not only apply your technical expertise but also shape the future of our business, securing high-profile projects, building strong client relationships, and making a lasting impact. Duties & Responsibilities
Develop design and analysis of complex underground structures, such as tunnels, caverns, and underground transit systems.
Develop and review construction plans, drawings, and specifications for underground structures, and supervise the work of junior and mid-level engineers and technicians.
Review project deliverables for conformity and quality assurance.
Interact regularly with clients and resolve project-related issues.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications and resolve any construction-related issues.
Mentor and train junior engineers to help them develop their skills and expertise in structural engineering for underground structures.
Qualifications
Familiarity with CSA codes and Canadian engineering standards (PEng license in Ontario required).
Professional Engineering registration required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years related experience in technical roles on infrastructure/heavy civil engineering; underground construction works experience preferred.
Ability in FEM modeling and structural verifications of temporary support of excavation, reinforced concrete, and steelwork.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of work time to support projects across North America.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
