Primary Care Physician

Position at Coastal Health, Orange Park/Fleming Island. Position Overview

Provide and manage comprehensive patient care, including physical exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Prescribe medications and develop treatment regimens as appropriate. Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care across disciplines as needed. Work collaboratively with a team. Participate in health promotion, patient education, and disease prevention programs. Adhere to departmental policies, quality standards, and infection control procedures. This is a 100% outpatient position — no inpatient coverage required. Qualifications

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility for licensure). Current, unrestricted DEA registration. No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension. Education & Experience

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). 3–5 years of directly related experience (including residency). Federal DEA Certification. Skills & Abilities

Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills. Strong ability to assess, observe, and document patient symptoms and progress. Knowledge of current medical care standards, pharmaceuticals, and treatment protocols. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Experience training or mentoring clinical staff is preferred. Compensation & Benefits
