Project Overview
CoatzadroneUSA is seeking an experienced drone pilot to perform aerial RGB and thermal inspections on five small‑scale solar farms (5–7 MW each) located throughout central Maine (Augusta–Bangor corridor). Sites are close together and can be completed within two working days.
Responsibilities
Conduct flight missions following CoatzadroneUSA’s standard operating procedures.
Capture high-resolution RGB and thermal imagery for all assigned blocks.
Maintain consistent image overlap, GSD, and alignment standards.
Communicate any weather delays or site issues to the Operations Manager in real time.
Requirements
FAA Part 107 Certification (required).
Minimum 1 year professional drone experience (solar or infrastructure preferred).
Proficiency with DJI Pilot 2 and mission-based flight planning.
Own and operate DJI Mavic 3T or M2EA.
Reliable transportation between sites (within a 60-mile range).
Compensation
$400/day (flat rate).
Net 30 payment terms following verified delivery and QC approval.
No per diem; pilot responsible for travel and lodging.
Schedule Immediate availability – project expected to be completed within 2 days of assignment.
