Maintenance Mechanic IV - 1st Shift

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures. Job Requirements: As a Maintenance Mechanic level 4, you are responsible for: diagnosing and repairing advanced mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns of machinery with minimal supervision; basic knowledge of PLC operation including ladder logic preferred; providing technical support for maintenance department and engineering; completing all work orders and repair logs to reflect work performed; following all safety guidelines in working on machinery or in facilities (ex. Lock out/tag out); general housekeeping of work area; other maintenance projects as assigned; performing machine pm's as needed; basic to intermediate computer skills; basic building maintenance as needed. What Your Background Should Look Like: Option 1: AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Technology plus 2+ years' experience in electronics or mechanical field. Option 2: 5+ years' experience in manufacturing in Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, motor controls in plant environment. Option 3: Certified Journeyman/Apprenticeship program completion with 2+ years' experience in electronics or mechanical field. Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200 $99,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
