Business Analyst (Contract) – Akkodis – San Jose, CA
Rate: $58–$60 per hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams and ensure alignment with business goals.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to capture current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including developers, QA, and project managers—to ensure successful delivery.
Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, use cases, and user stories.
Support testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
10+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Strong experience working with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to support project delivery and process improvements.
