We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructures across on‑premises and cloud environments. In this role, you will lead network architecture initiatives, ensure compliance with industry frameworks, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable connectivity and business continuity.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud‑based solutions.
Lead and coordinate network changes to ensure security, performance, and compliance with governance frameworks (e.g., NIST‑CSF, COBIT).
Develop system specifications and technical implementation plans for complex installations.
Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and engineering teams to resolve issues and deliver large‑scale projects.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide on‑call operational support for network reliability.
Drive strategic planning for network architecture and security across hybrid environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in IT systems installation, operations, and maintenance of virtualized servers and cloud systems.
Strong knowledge of Layer 3 routing and switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP4, RIP, OSPF).
Hands‑on experience with IOS, NX‑OS, XR, and advanced WAN/LAN/TCP/IP/VPN/Ethernet skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, and GitHub.
Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code and building cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure or Google Cloud acceptable).
Advanced troubleshooting skills using cabling analyzers, packet capture, and analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Advanced Networking; Cisco CCNP/CCDP or CCIE; Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud certifications.
Experience with SDN deployments or Cisco ACI.
Familiarity with network security elements: DNS/IPAM, Firewalls, NAC, load balancing, DDoS mitigation, and NTP.
