Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal support and advice to our clients in the area of insurance defense.
Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial work.
Handle a caseload involving insurance defense, commercial litigation, and liability cases.
Serve as the first chair in trials, presenting cases in a way that ensures the client's rights and interests are protected.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.
Work on labor law issues and construction accident cases, providing expert advice and guidance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and the legal landscape.
Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best representation for our clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney or similar role.
Proven experience with trial work, first‑chair responsibilities, commercial litigation, liability cases, labor law, and construction accident cases.
Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
