Job Summary The Assistant Manager, Operations is a key member of the store leadership team responsible for ensuring the retail business runs smoothly. The role manages business enablers (financial, inventory, vendor relationships, technology, facilities), writes weekly schedules, handles people‑related admin (payroll, documentation), and executes company‑driven operations projects at the store level.
Core Responsibilities Of The Job
Implement the Store Manager’s Operations vision and cascade to team members.
Plan and prepare weekly team schedules according to labor requirements, availability, and budget considerations.
Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
Review, monitor, and partner with the Store Manager to manage the budget and other business data and metrics (e.g., P&L, expenses) and inform planning processes (quarterly business review, sales planning).
Provide retail floor leadership to team members, including planning floor coverage and maintaining operational effectiveness.
Support sell‑through management by ensuring accurate inventory counts and coordinating labor hours to receive product deliveries efficiently.
Execute company‑level operations directives, projects, and initiatives (e.g., SSC initiatives).
Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.

Schedule/Availability
Variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights or overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience
1 year managing business operations and administration, including scheduling and labor hour management, and managing projects or processes.
Compensation & Benefits Package Base Pay Range:
$32.65 – $44.17/hour (subject to minimum wage)
Target Bonus:
25%
Total Target Base Pay Range:
$40.81 – $55.21/hour
