As we pursue our growth trajectory, we seek a strategic and hands-on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and play a key role in shaping our financial future.

Position Summary The Corporate Controller will report directly to the CEO and oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance functions, with the potential to evolve into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role based on performance and organizational needs. This position requires a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory controls, and ERP and analytical systems within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate brings both leadership capabilities and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning

Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and long-range financial planning.

Help executive leadership manage strategic initiatives, financial forecasting, and risk mitigation.

Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies in compliance with GAAP.

Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to strengthen visibility into financial performance.

Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead month-end and year-end close processes with timeliness and accuracy.

Manage the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

Oversee cost accounting processes and inventory valuation to support manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and performance; drive ERP utilization and enhancement (Macola or similar experience helpful).

Manage financial consolidation across domestic and international entities; ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.

Oversee foreign currency transactions, intercompany eliminations, and transfer pricing documentation.

Team Leadership & Compliance

Supervise and mentor the accounting team; promote a culture of continuous improvement and prepare for approaching retirement transitions.

Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

10+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/Controller role

Strong experience in manufacturing, medical device industries preferred

Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory accounting

ERP experience required (Macola, NetSuite, or similar)

Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools

Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Proven ability to lead teams through periods of growth and change
