Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing team in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have experience in power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm system design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, cultural, and/or residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and design services for power distribution including low voltage systems and arc flash, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Work on a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, cultural, and/or residential projects.
Produce electrical design/construction drawings and specifications.
Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule, working alongside Project Managers, Senior Engineers, the design team, and other disciplines.
Review construction documents, produce cost estimates, and provide construction administration support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
EIT/PE licensure preferred but non-licensed candidates with equivalent experience will be considered
Familiarity with the National Electric Code, Building Codes, and NFPA
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Strong communication and collaboration skills
