What You Will Do
Facilitate the Scrum process and help the team work effectively
Lead and guide the team in adopting and adhering to Scrum principles and practices
Work as part of a team to define various cyber security capabilities and ensure the team is completing their scope to meet the customer’s needs
Assisting in team personnel and ensuring team has what they need to succeed
Implement proper cybersecurity controls
Interact with stakeholders to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems
Define security development and test efforts implementing security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components
Integrate cybersecurity development and sustainment activities
Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies
Identifying and championing resolution of impediments
Tracking and reporting team agile metrics
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti‑Tamper, cybersecurity or embedded security
Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real‑time embedded security‑oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines
Experience in generating systems requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies
Qualifications We Prefer
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment
Hands on experience configuring and implementing cybersecurity tools
Experience with project management tools; i.e., Jira
Knowledge of Endpoint Security Services (ESS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) / Tenable Security Center, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
Experience with IT and/or network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX, MS Windows, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience in the implementation and business growth of SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle
Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
Experience supporting the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents and controls validation testing for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditations
Experience with backlog readiness for planning and execution
Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness
Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
