Principal Salesforce Solution & Platform Architect

This role blends technical leadership and hands‑on solutioning — requiring strong problem‑solving skills, organizational agility, and the ability to coach teams toward a unified, future‑ready platform. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment and act as a thought‑leader within the Global Salesforce Commercial Platforms IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Own business requirement gathering/documentation, overall design, and Salesforce configuration.
Lead design and discovery workshops, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Provide architectural guidance and hands‑on implementation across Salesforce products.
Deliver level‑of‑effort estimates and articulate technical feasibility, risks, and benefits.
Configure Salesforce per design specifications and support UAT planning and execution.
Drive best practices for system design, governance, deployment, and change management.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to enhance and expand existing Salesforce implementations.
Mentor and coach junior technical and functional team members.
Participate in product evaluations, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning.
Create solution documentation including workflow diagrams, data models, and process maps.
Support cross‑functional initiatives across regions ensuring architectural consistency.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree.
7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
Nice to Have
Previous client or healthcare industry experience.
Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience, including hands‑on configuration and architecture.
Expertise across Salesforce products: Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community, and Agentforce.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
Strong integration experience (ETL, CPQ, MuleSoft, Informatica, WebMethods, Kafka, APIs).
Deep understanding of data models, analytics, and CRM processes.
Experience in multi‑org consolidations, data migration, and release management.
Ability to lead complex enterprise deployments using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills; ability to work with global teams across time zones.
Experience managing offshore resources and collaborating with multi‑divisional stakeholders.
Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Integration Architecture Designer, or Agentforce Specialist.
Proven ability to design and optimize business processes, integrate across systems, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
