Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Cincinnati, OH. You will be responsible for building enterprise-grade portals and APIs and contributing to cloud-native system design with high performance and scalability.

Rate Range:

$53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer job responsibilities include:

Design and develop enterprise-grade portals and APIs using advanced Java concepts and microservices architecture.

Build and maintain scalable, low-latency systems with high availability using Kafka and C++.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture and Product teams to define technical solutions.

Contribute to cloud-native system architecture, containerization, caching strategies, and DevOps integration.

Perform hands‑on coding, code reviews, and technical implementation for high-performance applications.

Lead and mentor remote development teams across geographies, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

6–8 years of experience in Java development and enterprise application architecture.

Strong hands‑on experience with Advanced Java, C++, Kafka, and microservices-based API development.

Proven ability to design and implement cloud‑native, high-performance systems with containerization, caching, and DevOps integration.

Pay Details:

$53.00 to $60.00 per hour
