This is a Non‑Employee Contingent Worker role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. The role includes moderately complex business planning, support, and project‑related duties and requires a strong standard of quality and accountability.
Term: 23 months, with possible extension based on business needs. The position is located onsite at the company site and may operate in a hybrid capacity.
CW‑Data Analyst The Data Analyst identifies current market sector trends and customer patterns through statistical modeling and analytics, assisting in examining and identifying data trends to answer business questions and improve decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with mathematical, statistical, and economic methods to determine market conditions, project consumer needs, and inform business initiatives.
Identify trends from modeling, informing product development and marketing decisions.
Help develop data mining models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and simulate the impact of potential future business decisions.
Develop detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.
Recognize areas of opportunity and risk through data analysis and modeling, reporting findings.
Provide information for additional research and analysis in line with statistical methodology.
Assist other areas in modeling the potential outcomes of implementing various business strategies.
Perform end‑to‑end setup, enrichment, and maintenance of securities and reference data in Eagle and related platforms.
Validate and reconcile data between Bloomberg, CRD, GoldenSource, Eagle, and internal systems.
Execute and monitor daily data feeds, ensuring timely updates and resolving exceptions.
Conduct security master maintenance across multiple asset types.
Collaborate with Front Office, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and support trade enablement.
Support data quality initiatives, automation, and process improvements.
Participate in UAT testing, change management, and production deployment validation.
Maintain comprehensive process documentation and ensure adherence to internal governance.
Handle ad‑hoc data requests, issue analysis, and reporting as required by business users.
Educational Requirements
University degree preferred.
Work Experience
2+ years required; 3+ years preferred.

Required Skills
Strong working knowledge of Eagle (PACE, STAR, Data Management) and data management processes.
Proficiency with Bloomberg (BBG Terminal, BBG AIM, BBG PORT) and Charles River (CRD) applications.
Experience with GoldenSource or similar MDM tools.
Solid understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products).
Familiarity with data feeds (Bloomberg BPIPE, Refinitiv, Markit) and static data integration workflows.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data reconciliation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work in US time zone (evening/night IST).
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA) and SQL; basic SQL query knowledge.
Good To Have
SQL or data query/reporting knowledge.
Exposure to automation or process improvement initiatives (Alteryx, Python, VBA).
Experience with middle office or front office support environments.
Understanding of trade lifecycle and reference data’s role in that lifecycle.
